WHAT IS SOUPKNIFE, AND HOW DO I GET ONE?
The SoupKnife concept derives from the title of John A. Nagl’s counterinsurgency novel, Learning to Eat Soup With A Knife, which was taken from a T.E. Lawrence simile, “Making war upon insurgents is messy and slow, like eating soup with a knife.” This quote resonated on a deep level within me and seemed to poignantly reoccur throughout other concepts.
The intention of this blog is to sit down at the table and plug away at the tedious process of eating the conceptual soup of life with the knife of reason. I will focus on my interests in communications and public relations, with an emphasis on veterans issues and non-profits. So pull up a chair, pour yourself a bowl, and enjoy.
